When dressing as a monster or alien, don’t only think about looking exactly like the character. Take an additional step to consider how the character feels. When Todd Davis made his Davy Jones costume, he was sure to cast the face, hands/claws, and tentacles in a gel-filled silicone to give the skin an appropriately squishy feel.
