If you need to look like you’re shoot magical, glowing blasts (or a Ki blast from Dragon Ball), turn to sheets of PETG plastic and heat/form them over a snow globe. To give the plastic sheet an extra boost so it shines more when it’s lighted, coat it with a light layer of mirror reflective paint.
