Announcing Hardware Studio

The first piece of this effort is Hardware Studio Toolkit, a new community site with valuable tools and tutorials for tech and design creators, along with contributions from Dragon and Avnet engineers, Kickstarter staff, experienced creators, and industry experts.

The second piece is Hardware Studio Connection, which will allow creators working on more advanced projects to get personalized advice, feedback, and services from engineers at Avnet and Dragon.

Hardware Studio is set to launch this fall.

Through this partnership, Kickstarter has cleverly packaged a range of qualified resources that extends from the home-spun tools and insights of best in class campaigns to production, supply-chain, and distribution solutions from Avnet and Dragon Innovation.

Last year, Kickstarter ‘s reputation was taking a hit and they needed more hardware campaigns to ship successfully. Since then they have positioned themselves rather brilliantly as a learning platform where businesses can create a lot of value by helping each other succeed.
