Ok! I’m watching and re-watching the Arduino Day video (here). Here are 5 interesting things that popped out, in no particular order, more later…

1) Alice from Arduino talked about getting more diverse feedback on Arduino Create, according to the presentation it over 90% male.

2) New product MKRfox1200, Arduino’s entry into sub-gigahz radio.

3) According to the presentation, there were 23.4 million downloads of the Arduino IDE since March 2015 (1 download ever 2.6 seconds). And from 2015 to 2017, the number of website users grew 32.2% from 28.9m to 38.2m (unclear how .org/.cc were counted, combined?).

4) New corporate structure.

5) There was cake!
