Oakley is now shipping a pair of glasses that include a coach to assist with your cycling or running training. The Oakley Radar Pace glasses retail for $449 which includes a headphones, mic and a handful of built-in sensors (accelerometer, gyroscope, pressure, humidity and proximity). The glasses are also able to speak to external sensors ANT+/BLE devices such as power meters and heart rate monitors. The glasses make use of Intel’s Real Speech which allows for conversational dialogue with the coaching system which is built into the glasses. The system currently understands English, Italian, German, Spanish and French. There is also a touch pad on the left temple for swipe control. There is also the Oakley Radar Pace app where one enters a description of themselves age, weight, etc. and some goal specifics.  The app will “learn” based on workout data and make appropriate adjustments.
