Over on the Adafruit blog we have a round up of a couple new 360 degree cameras that were announced over the weekend, one from LG and one from Samsung. We currently use the Ricoh THETA S and have been experimenting with how and where to do some 360 videos of Adafruit. With the hardware shipping, the videos sorta-kinda-possible to have a good viewer like a phone or a VR headset we’ll see a wave of content followed by a wave of marketers jumping in. For a maker business showing the process _is_ the art, so if you’re thinking of getting a 360 camera to show how you build, ship, manufacture and more – do it. If you’re a publication, you’ll have a ton of 360 cameras at events and more. Watch this space we’ll do some 360 factory tours soon.
